Room 412; Tuesday Evening.
Setsuna sat on her bed with her legs folded out in front of her, leaning forward slightly over a notebook. Her pen tapped on her chin idly as she frowned at the short list she was building. She only had a few more days before she'd have to get a package out to Konoka-Ojou-sama for White Day, and then only a few more after that for Konoka-Ojou-sama's birthday.

...Oh, man....She was going to be sixteen. Old enough for...

Setsuna shook her head sharply. No. She was not going to think about Pactios now. First things first, like actually getting these presents figured out, and then going to find Ranma-chan to make sure she hadn't been wreaking too much havoc when she was busy with other things. Like saving the world from malicious aliens....


[[ door's closed; [info]the_merriest is expected by, but it's definately open for anyone who might want to stop by/interact before or after their meeting. That Rikku and Set got together is okay, but the topic of their conversation is NFB, please, because, OMG, I know who's doing radio :P ]]

Rikku was pretty sure this was the right room. Well, if not, she could always stop by Jude's room and ask him for direction.

She knocked lightly, bouncing a little with excitement already.

Setsuna wrote something down, frowned at it, and scribbled it out as she called out, "Who is it?"

These days, she always asked. Never knew when it might be the twins. And, after losing track of Ranma-chan, she wasn't sure she'd be prepared for a visit from them.

"Uh, it's Rikku? From the sparring thing." She felt weird, now that she was actually here. "Is this a bad time? Cause I can come back."

Setsuna blinked at the door for a second. And found it interesting that Rikku clarified by mentioning sparring rather than Jude. "No, it's not a bad time at all. Come on in."

She considered for a moment her notebook; she'd been writing in Japanese, so it probably wasn't anything Rikku could read, so she was okay with just setting it aside for the moment without closing it.

Rikku stepped into the room nervously. "Hey! I was just, uh." She cleared her throat. "Do you remember what we were talking about? The other day? With Professor Deadpool and all that?"

Great, she sounded like an idiot.

Setsuna tucked a hair behind her ear (one that would very shortly fall right back to where it was) and grinned a little, "You mean the surprise armed attack?"

Rikku giggled. "Yeah. Just to, y'know, show him what we've got. Get him back."

She grinned. "He's got office hours tomorrow. I don't know what classes you have, but ..."

"I've got a class first period and last period; everything else is open in between."

Setsuna's grin faded slightly, though, with a small slight in their cunning plan. "We could get in a lot of trouble for weapons on campus, though...I'm entirely for the prospect of a double-sneak-attack, but we might have to save the armed part for another time...."

"I have class second and fifth, and then cheerleading right after last period. Although we didn't really do anything last week but celebrate, but then, it was break."

Rikku bit her lip and thought. "How much trouble? And would anybody else know about it, except him? I doubt he'd tell on us. He doesn't seem the type."

Setsuna tried to push aside the part about cheerleading; she already thought that Rikku resembled Sakurako Shiina a lot, but that she was a cheerleader as well? Kind of hurt her brain a little. Then again, Akamatsu is an FF Fanboy...

"True," Setsuna said. "If anything, I actually see him being rather proud of our efforts," there was a slight eye-roll there. "But I believe they actually moniter things like that. With so many fighter types around, they take a lot of safety precautions. We could try, but we would be doing so with the full awareness than anything from detention to expulsion awaits us..."

"Expulsion?!" Rikku gasped. "Oh, no, I need to be here! You guys have all kinds of interesting machina and I even have a professor who works on an airship and okay, it'd be funny but it's not worth that."

"Rats." She sighed. "Should we gang up on him unarmed? Or maybe figure out some time to get him when he's not at school?"

Setsuna nodded, agreeing wholeheartedly about expulsion, although not for the same reasons.


"I would very much like to gang up on him unarmed. We will be having our usual sparring session this week, but...the thought of getting him in his office is very appealing..."

Rikku's eyes lit up. "We can totally take him unarmed. Plus it means we can walk in all unassuming and then just nail him when he doesn't expect it."

The grin slowly worked itself back onto Setsuna's face. "Exactly. We'll have to come up with something good that we're supposedly 'talking' to him about. And arrive seperately, too...one before the other. Same time is way too suspicious."

"Ohh!" Setsuna bit her lip a little against the grin getting too big. "That works out quite nicely, definately!" She laughed a little at how much the excitement was building up inside of her, but planning this with Rikku was a lot of fun; and actually doing it was going to be a blast.

Rikku clapped her hands together. "Great! Okay. I'll get there as soon as I can after class. I'll say I'm asking him about ..." She stopped, giggling. "Would 'unarmed combat' be way too obvious a lead-in?"

"A signal would be good; perhaps a verbal sort? Much less awkward than trying to catch eyes and nod or something. A key word, to trigger the attack. We should also decide how to attack. I know I work better with the upper body, head, neck, shoulder area...."

"A code word, you mean? Something we wouldn't say normally. Maybe shoe?" She grinned. "I don't know what I'm best at. Maybe we do a pincer move, one on each side, so one of us always has a clear shot at his back?"

"I like shoe," Setsuna nodded. "It's something I think either one of us could easily work in without seeming suspicious. And a pincer move sounds nice; I like how you think, Rikku." And then she grinned like she couldn't help it. She was sitting here strategizing against a teacher she hated with Jude's new girlfriend. It...didn't get much better than that.
